Tell us a little about you and what you do:
We are both Virtual Assistants based in the Cambridgeshire area. Between us we have over 13 years experience as VAs and have worked with 100 clients. We are now working together to support clients on projects bringing together a wealth of knowledge and expertise to simplify and solve your business operations.
What drove you to get into your area of business?
After talking to potential clients we realised that not everyone needed ongoing support and that working together we could offer short term project packages to get items off your list and solve business priorities.
How did it happen?
When co-working together, after several conversations, we realised that we had both been having similar thoughts after calls with potential clients. Our work styles are very aligned but equally both bring different skills and platform knowledge to the table.
What is your favourite thing about running your own business?
Having eachother to share ideas with, help make decisions and most importantly have a laugh with!
What is your favourite thing about what you do?
Getting to help clients in a short space of time and make a big difference to their business
What do you find most challenging in your business?
Filling in forms like this!!!!! Marketing ourselves, we are aware that we are not the best at shouting about ourselves or what we do.
How have you worked/are you working around this?
By teaming up together it has made it easier to talk about ourselves and share eachothers individual strengths.
What is your biggest piece of advice for someone looking to start their own business/go freelance?
Talk to others, find your tribe (we love ours!) and if you can have basic systems in place to support you as you grow.
